Linda Sekoll + Royal Black Couture
London, UK — 22 September 2025 — Austrian designers Linda Sekoll and Royal Black Couture joined forces to present Re:Assembled at Oxford Fashion Studio’s 10th Anniversary London Fashion Week SS26 shows on Sunday 21st September at Devonshire Square. The collaboration brought together two distinct creative disciplines — reworked menswear tailoring and exquisite couture corsetry — to form a powerful dialogue between structure, history, and modern reinvention.
Re:Assembled challenged traditional ideas of silhouette and gender through precision tailoring, sculptural form, and intricate craftsmanship. Linda Sekoll, known for her approach to sustainable upcycling, deconstructed vintage menswear pieces and reimagined them with new purpose. Royal Black Couture, celebrated internationally for its architectural corsetry, contributed masterfully engineered pieces that emphasised strength, sensuality, and control. The fusion of the two designers’ aesthetics created an arresting visual tension — structured yet fluid, historical yet forward-looking.
Every look reflected the artistry of transformation. Traditional suiting fabrics were sliced, re-draped, and bound by hand-laced corsets; sharp lines contrasted with soft folds; and intricate embellishments revealed the painstaking attention to detail synonymous with couture. The result was a collection that transcended eras and expectations — an exploration of reconstruction, empowerment, and timeless design.
“Linda Sekoll and Royal Black Couture brought extraordinary craftsmanship to the runway,” said Tiffany Anglim, Runway Director at Oxford Fashion Studio. “Re:Assembled was a masterclass in collaboration — two creative voices combining to redefine what elegance, structure, and innovation can mean on the modern runway.”
As part of Oxford Fashion Studio’s 10th anniversary season, Re:Assembled stood out as a celebration of artistry and craftsmanship, honouring the past while pushing confidently into the future — much like the studio itself.
