Soramame
London, UK — 22 September 2025 — Vietnamese couture house Soramame headlined Oxford Fashion Studio’s 10th Anniversary London Fashion Week SS26 shows at Devonshire Square on Sunday 21st September, closing the evening with Sparkles of Momentum — a sculptural, emotionally charged collection that explored the paradox of impermanence and eternity.
Known for its slow fashion ethos and meticulous craftsmanship, Soramame once again proved that couture can be both poetic and powerful. The collection unfolded as a visual symphony of texture, proportion, and motion — asymmetrical draping, dramatic cut-outs, and reimagined feminine silhouettes conveyed a sense of constant evolution. Each look balanced fragility with strength, elegance with edge.
Crafted from materials sourced across Vietnam, Japan, and Italy, the collection blended delicate lace and sheer organza with denim, sequins, wool, and metallic fibres, creating a striking dialogue between softness and structure. The interplay of fabrics mirrored the show’s central theme: momentum as a reflection of growth, resilience, and beauty in transition.
Designer Gracie V described Sparkles of Momentum as a meditation on change — on how motion defines not only fashion but life itself. The collection embodied Soramame’s belief that couture is not static decoration, but living art — garments that move with, and evolve alongside, the wearer.
“Soramame embodies everything Oxford Fashion Studio stands for,” said Tiffany Anglim, Runway Director at Oxford Fashion Studio. “Their artistry transcends borders and traditions, blending cultural storytelling with technical mastery. As our 10th anniversary headliner, they delivered a show that was as thought-provoking as it was breathtaking.”
Presented as the finale of Oxford Fashion Studio’s landmark season, Sparkles of Momentum captured the essence of creativity without compromise — craftsmanship as poetry, movement as meaning, and couture as an ever-evolving art form.
