Chenchen Studio
London, UK — 22 September 2025 — Chinese-born, London-based designer Chen Chen captivated audiences with an art-led, sculptural collection at Oxford Fashion Studio’s 10th Anniversary London Fashion Week SS26 shows on Sunday 21st September at Devonshire Square. Presenting as part of the OFS LAB Concept Show, ChenChen Studio unveiled a body of work that challenged the definition of wearable art through architectural form, material innovation, and emotional depth.
The SS26 collection was a study in balance — structure meeting softness, chaos meeting control. Sculptural silhouettes curved around the body like fluid architecture, crafted from layered fabrics, transparent panels, and manipulated textures that shifted with light and motion. Each look felt like a living installation, designed to evoke curiosity and emotion rather than conform to conventional ideas of fashion.
Chen’s work draws heavily on her background in fine art and spatial design, resulting in a collection that transcends the boundaries of clothing to become a reflection on identity, transformation, and the space the body occupies. The craftsmanship was meticulous — from pleated sculptural details to the interplay of organic and synthetic materials — creating garments that were as expressive as they were technically accomplished.
“ChenChen Studio embodies the innovation and artistry that define the OFS LAB platform,” said Tiffany Anglim, Runway Director at Oxford Fashion Studio. “Her work invites us to see fashion not just as something we wear, but as a conversation between body, space, and imagination.”
As part of Oxford Fashion Studio’s landmark 10th anniversary season, ChenChen Studio’s showcase stood as a powerful statement of where independent fashion is headed — towards freedom, experimentation, and a redefinition of beauty through creativity without compromise.
