ick. Continues to Build Its Emerging British Design Language
Founded in 2024, young UK label ick. approaches familiar silhouettes through quality material, proportion and unexpected styling.
ick. is an emerging British fashion label using its early seasons to develop an evolving design identity.
Founded in 2024, the brand works through small capsule collections, placing an emphasis on quality materials and distinctive interpretations of familiar silhouettes.
Rather than rejecting recognisable forms, ick. uses them as a starting point.
Changes in material, proportion and styling allow established garment types to take on a different character, creating an approach that balances familiarity with experimentation.
At this early point in the label’s development, each collection forms another part of an ongoing process of defining what ick. can become.
Its SS27 London appearance therefore offers a snapshot of a young independent brand in the process of building its creative vocabulary — an opportunity to encounter its work not after that identity has been fully established, but while it is still being actively shaped.
ick. presents at 2.30pm on Sunday 20 September at Devonshire Square, London.
