Aleeka Introduces an Emerging London Design Voice

London-based designer Liqaa Al-Kamil presents her developing independent fashion practice to an international runway audience for SS27.

Aleeka is an emerging UK fashion label founded by London-based designer Liqaa Al-Kamil.

Developed as an eponymous creative practice, the brand represents a new independent voice within London’s diverse fashion landscape.

The SS27 presentation with Oxford Fashion Studio marks an important stage in the development of the label, bringing Al-Kamil’s work onto an international runway and offering audiences an opportunity to encounter the designer’s evolving perspective firsthand.

At an early stage in its development, the brand is still establishing the visual language that will define its future collections. That process itself makes the runway significant: an opportunity to introduce a new designer not through retrospective recognition, but at the point at which an independent fashion identity is being formed.

The London presentation places Aleeka alongside designers from across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and North America as part of Oxford Fashion Studio’s international SS27 programme.
