Karpova

London, UK — 22 September 2025 — Ukrainian designer Iryna Karpova opened Oxford Fashion Studio’s 10th Anniversary London Fashion Week shows at Devonshire Square on Sunday 21st September, unveiling a powerful new collection that celebrated resilience, craftsmanship, and cultural identity.

Travelling from Kyiv to London for the show, Karpova presented a contemporary womenswear collection that reimagines traditional Ukrainian motifs through a modern, sustainable lens. Her designs paired fluid silhouettes with structured tailoring, combining elegance and strength in equal measure. Each piece reflected her philosophy of creating clothing that honours heritage while embracing the evolving identity of modern women.

Sustainability remains central to the brand’s ethos. The SS26 collection was crafted using vintage fabrics, hand-drafted patterns, and a made-to-measure approach to minimise waste. The result was a wardrobe that felt timeless yet alive — garments that tell stories of endurance, grace, and reinvention.

Opening the 2.30pm show, Karpova set a deeply emotive tone for Oxford Fashion Studio’s landmark 10th anniversary season, which celebrates a decade of championing independent designers from around the world.

“Karpova’s work embodies the resilience and artistry that define this season,” said Tiffany Anglim, Runway Director at Oxford Fashion Studio. “Her designs carry a sense of heritage and purpose that resonates far beyond the runway.”

The show formed part of a global schedule spanning both New York and London, featuring 18 designers from across the Commonwealth and beyond. In London, Karpova shared the runway with international talents including Tomfoolery, Chelsea Grays, Renee’Larouge, Jiwya, and Kuteka Printell — each contributing their unique vision to a day that celebrated creativity without compromise.

Karpova’s presence in London stood as both a creative statement and a cultural bridge — proof that fashion can unite craftsmanship, sustainability, and storytelling on a truly international stage.
