JIWYA
London, UK — 22 September 2025 — Indian sustainable label JIWYA made a striking statement at Oxford Fashion Studio’s 10th Anniversary London Fashion Week SS26 shows on Sunday 21st September at Devonshire Square, presenting Katidha — a fully plant-based collection redefining the boundaries of ethical fashion.
Rooted in the Sanskrit word Jiwya, meaning “alive,” the brand embodies a vision of sustainability that honours both the environment and the artisans behind each piece. The Katidha collection was designed within a soil-to-soil ecosystem, using natural fibres, organic dyes, and zero-waste production techniques. Each garment was handcrafted through JIWYA’s artisan clusters across India, reflecting a deep respect for traditional craft while embracing contemporary design.
The runway featured fluid silhouettes, neutral tones, and earthy textures — garments that exuded serenity and structure in equal measure. Soft tailoring met minimal draping, creating a harmonious balance between natural movement and purposeful form. Every detail, from the choice of materials to the finishing techniques, expressed a quiet strength and connection to the land.
Presented as part of Oxford Fashion Studio’s 2.30pm show, JIWYA joined an international lineup including Karpova, Tomfoolery, Chelsea Grays, Renee’Larouge, and Kuteka Printell — a showcase that celebrated global creativity and sustainable innovation. “JIWYA represents the future of responsible fashion,” said Tiffany Anglim, Runway Director at Oxford Fashion Studio. “Their work proves that ethical design and luxury craftsmanship can coexist beautifully.”
As Oxford Fashion Studio marked ten years of championing independent designers worldwide, JIWYA’s London debut stood out as a symbol of what’s possible when sustainability meets artistry — a reminder that fashion can be both mindful and magnificent.
