Megan O’Cain
London, UK — 22 September 2025 — Brooklyn-based designer Megan O’Cain brought a surreal burst of colour and creativity to the runway at Oxford Fashion Studio’s 10th Anniversary London Fashion Week SS26 shows, closing the season with Keepsake — a dreamlike collection inspired by memory, nostalgia, and the joy of storytelling through fashion.
Known for her distinctive use of vivid colour, playful textures, and art-inspired silhouettes, O’Cain transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary. Keepsake continued her signature narrative style, reinterpreting personal objects and childhood memories into fantastical, wearable worlds. Each garment combined painterly prints, handcrafted embellishments, and unconventional materials that blurred the line between fashion and fine art.
The collection was a study in emotion and expression — from voluminous, sculptural shapes to intricate detailing that revealed new layers of meaning with every movement. O’Cain’s ability to weave humour, sentiment, and craftsmanship together created a runway experience that was both whimsical and deeply human.
“Megan O’Cain’s work is a vivid reminder that fashion can be both joyful and profound,” said Tiffany Anglim, Runway Director at Oxford Fashion Studio. “Keepsake was the perfect finale for our 10th anniversary season — a celebration of imagination, memory, and the freedom to create without boundaries.”
As the final act of Oxford Fashion Studio’s landmark anniversary, Megan O’Cain’s show encapsulated the heart of independent fashion: bold storytelling, fearless experimentation, and the power of design to connect emotion and art.
