Alimac Design Builds a Fashion World Around Fantasy and Individuality

Belgium-based Alimac Design brings medieval references, non-gendered silhouettes and imaginative storytelling to the London runway.

Founded by Belgian-based designer Camila Banegas Espada, Alimac Design is an independent label centred on individuality, self-expression and the freedom to embrace unconventional identity.

Trained as both a stylist and pattern maker, Banegas Espada approaches fashion as an evolving creative world rather than simply a sequence of garments. Colour, structure and storytelling provide the foundations of a design language increasingly shaped by medieval and fantastical references.

Non-gendered silhouettes move between contrasting visual territories, with darkness set against delicacy and individual garments conceived as fragments of imagined journeys. The result is fashion that treats dressing as a form of character-building and self-expression.

At the centre of Alimac Design is a philosophy of self-acceptance. Clothing becomes a means through which imagination, identity and personal freedom can be explored rather than constrained.

Its SS27 London appearance introduces the next stage of this evolving creative practice to an international runway audience.
