Designs By Elle Translates Art Deco Architecture Into Leather

Colorado leather studio Designs By Elle draws on architecture, geometry and craftsmanship for its SS27 collection, Radiance.

Designs By Elle is a woman-owned studio creating handcrafted leather goods in small batches in Colorado.

Drawing on a background in architecture, the brand approaches leatherwork through proportion, structure and purposeful form. Time-honoured craft techniques are combined with clean contemporary design, while premium materials and meticulous handwork underpin each piece.

The natural evolution of leather is equally important. Objects are designed to acquire the marks, patina and character of their owners over time, creating a more personal relationship between material and use.

For SS27, Radiance draws on the optimism and visual confidence of Art Deco.

Strong structural forms, geometry and clean lines are balanced with luxurious materials and restrained detailing. The architectural discipline of the period is translated into leather pieces that move between modernity and timelessness.

Across the collection, functionality remains central.

For Designs By Elle, luxury ultimately lies not simply in display, but in craftsmanship, permanence and the connection that develops between an object and the person who lives with it.

Designs By Elle presents Radiance at 4pm on Sunday 20 September at Devonshire Square, London.
