Renee Cafaro Atelier
New York, USA — 13 September 2025 — American designer Renee Cafaro set the tone for the new season with Out of Scale, a bold and barrier-breaking couture collection that opened Oxford Fashion Studio’s 10th Anniversary Season at New York Fashion Week SS26. Presented before a packed audience, the show embodied Cafaro’s ongoing mission to redefine luxury through inclusivity, confidence, and timeless glamour.
Out of Scale paid homage to 1980s extravagance — a decade of power dressing and fearless individuality — reimagined for today’s modern woman. Sculptural shoulders, metallic fabrics, sequined tailoring, and fluid eveningwear evoked the drama and energy of the era while remaining elegant and wearable. The collection seamlessly merged structure and softness, strength and sensuality, proving that couture can be both empowering and accessible.
In true Renee Cafaro Atelier style, diversity was at the heart of the presentation. The runway featured a dynamic cast including Mary Lambert, Velonika Pomee, and Project Runway alumni Jazzmine Carthon and Liris Crosse, each embodying the brand’s message of inclusivity and authenticity. The collection reinforced Cafaro’s long-standing advocacy for body positivity and representation, showcasing garments that celebrated all forms, sizes, and identities.
“Out of Scale was more than a fashion show — it was a statement,” said Tiffany Anglim, Runway Director at Oxford Fashion Studio. “Renee Cafaro continues to lead with purpose and artistry. Her vision challenges outdated ideals of beauty and proves that true couture is measured by impact, not size.”
As Oxford Fashion Studio celebrates its 10th anniversary of championing independent design across New York, London, Paris, and Milan, Cafaro’s headline show reflected the studio’s mission perfectly: creativity without compromise and fashion as a force for inclusion, innovation, and change.
